1. Data Controller

TALKIN THINGS S.A., with its registered office in Warsaw, at ul. Muszkieterów 15A, 02-273 Warsaw, entered into the register of entrepreneurs of the National Court Register maintained by the District Court for the Capital City of Warsaw, XII Commercial Division of the National Court Register, under KRS number 0001020516, VAT ID (NIP) 7010439095, REGON 147430324.

2. Purposes of Processing

We process personal data when there is a legal basis for doing so. Such a basis may include:

  • the consent of the individuals whose data we process (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR);
  • the necessity of processing for the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);
  • a legal obligation imposed on the Data Controller (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR);
  • the necessity of processing for purposes arising from the legitimate interests of the Data Controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We process personal data in particular for the purposes of:

  • concluding and performing contracts;
  • conducting communication with contractors, partners, clients, or collaborators;
  • recruitment;
  • providing services;
  • maintaining the TALKIN THINGS S.A. website

3. Which Data is Processed

We process personal data to the extent necessary for the intended purposes. Depending on the purposes of processing, the data may include identification data (such as first name and last name), contact information, and other information provided to TALKIN THINGS S.A.

4. Cookies

The TALKIN THINGS S.A. website (available at talkinthings.com) uses the following types of cookies:

  • first-party cookies, which identify the user and collect information about the acceptance of cookies;
  • third-party cookies (OneSignal, based in the USA) enabling the identification of users who wish to receive notifications;
  • third-party cookies – marketing cookies from Google Inc., which collect information for the purpose of displaying Google AdWords advertisements.
  • In the case of third-party cookies, data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area.
  • Each user can change the scope of their consent to the use of cookies in the privacy settings of their web browser.

5. Method of Data Collection

We usually obtain personal data directly from the individuals to whom the data relates.

Transfer and Entrustment of Data
 The processing of certain personal data is entrusted to our subcontractors, such as cloud service providers.
 Where there is a legal obligation, we may transfer data to the relevant public authorities.
 Personal data may also be made available to external advisors or auditors.

6. Retention Period

We process personal data for the period necessary to achieve the intended purpose. We will cease processing data if consent is withdrawn or if the data subject objects. If data processing is necessary to protect against potential claims or to safeguard the rights of TALKIN THINGS S.A., we may process personal data until the expiration of any applicable limitation periods.

7. Rights

The data subject has the following rights:

  • to request access from the Data Controller to their personal data;
  • to request rectification, deletion, or restriction of processing of their personal data;
  • to object to the processing of their personal data;
  • the right to data portability;
  • if processing is based on consent, the right to withdraw such consent;
  • to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (https://uodo.gov.pl/).
