Every summer there is a recurring problem of children wandering off on busy beaches. It’s easy for even vigilant parents to lose sight of them in the blink of an eye. Lonely little adventurers, when approached by beach staff, usually have difficulty providing any details that would help to contact their parents immediately. This important challenge has driven us to find a solution, and it’s firmly grounded in NFC technology.
Introducing Talkin’ Things NFC wristbands
Enter the NFC wristbands, a project born from the collaboration of Talkin’ Things, MIYA Cosmetics and the city of Sopot. These innovative wristbands are designed to tackle this problem head-on. Crafted with precision by Talkin’ Things, these wristbands feature embedded NFC tags and boast a special material composition that makes them resilient against water and accidental damage.
Accessible and user-friendly
Available at hotels and beach facilities, these NFC bands offer ease of use, allowing parents to encode them with their phone numbers. The interface is web based, thus eliminating the need for any specialized apps.
Swift reconnection in times of need
Now, if a child wanders off, a watchful lifeguard or a caring beachgoer can quickly scan the wristband with their smartphone to initiate a direct call to the parent. With the Talkin’ Things NFC wristband, we ensure that a lost child can be swiftly reconnected with their guardian, guaranteeing safety and peace of mind for all.
